From the OP, the text is written in Greek; I think it's unlikely Nifty has a Greek keyboard on his computer.

I can not get a photocopy of said report into anything that Google Translate will handle. edit. I have had a go at using the camera option for something else some time ago. Without success unfortunately.

I have not used it for some time. when I first went to Athens I got lost. To locate my position I had to bark the pike and compare the names on street signs with those on my archaic map before providence struck.

It looks like I have found somebody to translate the words for me. I was very worried at first that I was setting myself up to be scammed.by joining a forum that seems to be used by many nationalities. Upon thinking about it, rationality kicked in and I figured that there are more ways for scammers to find soft targets than by responding to obscure requests personally. So, I worked my way over the forum software anti spammer filters by letting my respondent have my email sans at symbols etc. And…… It all went quiet….. Hmmm….I was concerned. It seems like hours ago..
My respondent has only just sent me an e-mail saying that I was not to worry and that they were translating it now.

I guess you sussed out the Wordreference forum's PM system then.

I haven’t got a result from my endeavours yet. I should be more patient ? Mother said that I was too impetuous.
Anyway, are there any Crookite’s here ?

Search for "Greek ocr". There are several free optical character recognition services which will convert an image into text you can use in a translation service.

Thank you for that Elsie The problem I presently have is that the copy is in picture format and in spite of trying more than once I have not been able to enter that into any of the free text translators methods that I have found. I think that my I-pad may a bit like me But, as they say grammarist.com/phrase/more-than-one-way-to-skin-a-cat/
