Stupidly, I don't know you personally but no need to come on here and tell everyone your stupid. If you paid more attention you can see the picture was taken from the passenger seat. My hands were not on the steering wheel as I was not driving, dippit. 😃

Is driving with only one hand on the steering wheel illegal? I don't think so, and everything depends on the ability and experience of the driver.

What is the significance of a car being automatic in regard of taking hands off the steering wheel?
I had assumed, wrongly as it seems, that from the camera angle it was the passenger taking the photograph and that the vehicle was at a standstill.

I was on the passanger seat and the car was moving, it was just a smart phone picture. The no hands on the steering wheel caught ibis but thought I would have got you Who drives with no hands while taking a picture.

You drive with your wrists while taking the photo, obviously, in the same way that you can roll a cigarette while driving with your wrists.

Bet you were laughing all the way to McDos about it... Nothing racist about my post. Have you never read about an Englishman causing an accident in France with being on the wrong side of the road. They never say unknown nationality causes accident with being on the wrong side of the road that he has been used to.

Do you know if the driver was polish? Did you see if there was any mechanical failure - tire, steering component?
This phrase comes to mind - If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck

Your choice of 1Polak to use as the name for the Jpeg file would be seen by many as being so, surprising for someone who often used the R pejorative term against others.

This is particularly relevant in this thread but also relevant on all social media platforms. Unless you know the whole story, resist expressing your opinion. It'll lead to upset somewhere along the line.

I think you, pcpa, and ibis and those that thanked your post above ought to have a rethink. The word isn’t racist and wasn’t used as such. The thread went in a dumb direction when Deleted didn’t even use the word in the OP but you decided to post it and turn it into an accusation of racism for some odd reason, a 2 second google search would have given you this below and would have been a good idea to have done if you didn’t actually know the word. Also, I have seen you, pcpa, use French words in posts so why you are so put out if someone else uses a word they know to name a file on their computer (and which btw I can’t see, no idea how you can see the name for the file unless you are a moderator perhaps (?) ), your umbrage is misplaced, and it has resulted in another person leaving the forum. Shame.

Hi Ann
Anyone can see the name of the image in the tab of the new window (click on the image to open it larger in a new window, and the new window tab displays the image name)
