When a thread has more than one page I have to scroll back to the top to select the next page. I seem to recall there was a way to get to the next page without scrolling back so, is this possible?

The navigation bar with the page numbers and <<Prev and Next>> rests at the top of the page as you go down the page, so it's always available at the top - at least that's the case on my screen.

I wonder if Beejay means would it be possible to have the navigation top and bottom of the page. I've often thought that would be convenient.

Top of the Xmas dinner thread's first page
Bottom of the same thread's first page

Sorry. I've missed that, although in my defence I'll say it is tiny on a 10 inch tablet screen. 👍

You could correct whatever happened when you played around with the screen sizing several weeks back because I have since had to view the forum at 80% magnification or scroll backwards and forwards to read each line of text compared to the 110% magnification that I used before and is the minimum that I can comfortable read on my laptop screen.
I did mentioned it and politely asked if it could be corrected but you rebuffed me in a similar manner, others also made the same observationso I am not alone. You probably have reasonable vision with glasses if you wear them, try reading the forum at say 70% magnification or less and you will have an insight into what its now like for me.
It was a bonus being able to use 110% but I should be able to view the forum at 100%.
Windows 7, Firefox browser, 15.6" laptop screen.

Top of the Xmas dinner thread's first page

Bottom of the same thread's first page

Thank you. I do not get the navigation option at the bottom of the page where there are multiple pages.
Am I missing some way of introducing this?

Sorry if I have confused the matter. When I get to the bottom of a page the top navigation bar has disappeared and there never was one at the bottom of the page.

Sorry if I have confused the matter. When I get to the bottom of a page the top navigation bar has disappeared and there never was one at the bottom of the page. I think you have, a little. The below image is of the very bottom of the page that your reply was on - you can see it's the bottom because of the off-site links, which are at the bottom of every page on the forum. I have drawn a box around the navigation bar for the thread, not for the forum, as that's the only navigation bar you raised in your OP;
That thread navigation bar, which travels down the page with you as you scroll, includes a Top link, which will take you back to the top of the page where you will see both the thread navigation bar and the forum navigation bar.
If you are in fact talking about the forum navigation bar (Home, Members,Profile etc), that has never been anywhere other than at the top, and clicking Top in the thread navigation bar will get you back to the top, to be able to see that navigation bar.

Than you again. It's not the forum navigation bar.
I can scroll down a page and the thread navigation bar disappears along with the posts. There is no navigation bar at the bottom of the page.

There is no navigation bar at the bottom of the page. Which navigation bar do you mean, forum or thread?
A sudden thought - what theme are you using? You can check by going to Profile>Edit Profile>Settings and scrolling down to Forum Theme.

Nope, it's not the theme, each theme shows the thread navigation bar even when on the last post on the page, though colours vary with the two other themes.
