Indeed, I explained in detail how I was struggling to read anything at 80% and said politely that I hoped that something could be done but the response was "Your problem is possibly lack of effort, at least when you're on the computer" and "I do wonder sometimes if certain people need their hands held for every little step in a brave new world. You're a grown man, ****" I have deleted the last word which was my name which should never have been posted on the forum by **** I was not the only one suffering, CleoJ responded to say she also had to view the forum at 80%, quite brave considering the reception that I had recieved, there will be others who wisely remained silent. After nearly 3 months of using a magnifying glass to use the forum I accept that I have to live with it but it was frustrating to see a thread created asking if anyone else was having the same problems as Beejay

pcpa , it may be that your viewing problems will be less pronounced if you change the theme: Profile>Edit Profile>Settings, then scroll down to Forum Theme and change it, not forgetting to click Save Account Settings at the bottom, then. go to Active topics to see what it looks like.

Thanks, it took a while but thanks, I will try it, in the meantime reduce your screen magnification to 60 or 70% and see what it has been like walking in my shoes.

I can scroll down a page and the thread navigation bar disappears along with the posts. What do you mean by "along with the posts"?
There is no navigation bar at the bottom of the page. Which navigation bar do you mean, forum or thread?
A sudden thought - what theme are you using? You can check by going to Profile>Edit Profile>Settings and scrolling down to Forum Theme.
Thank you for your patience. It's difficult to describe what happens.
I am referring only to the thread navigation bar.
When I reach the bottom of a page and scroll down the post at the top moves out of sight and the thread navigation bar above it goes with it.
I have never seen a thread navigation bar at the bottom of the page.
Edit: forum theme shows as "default"

beejay, have you ever seen the thread navigation bar at the top of the screen when you are at the bottom of a page of posts? It's the default behaviour for all ProBoards forums, the Support forum for PB has the same action: have a look at this thread on the Support forum (chosen at random) and let me know if you can see the thread navigation bar staying in place as you scroll down the page.

Just to emphasise a point. If you are at anything over 100% ie in zoom mode, it won't follow ie stay at the top of the screen. So for me, only looking at the forum on my phone, the next/previous bar doesn't stay there as the forum is unreadable except in zoom. If I open a thread and don't zoom, it obediently stays there, but the forum is unreadable. Please ask if my explanation is in anyway unclear. Not a problem, just the way it is.

On my laptop, I've just zoomed to 170% and it stays where it's meant to be, ie it scrolls while descending the page.

And I've just reduced it to 80% and the same thing happens, ie it stays at the top of the screen. 80% is readable for me on a laptop, but I can see how it might be harder on a mobile.

For what it's worth, I'm on the Support forum asking how to copy the Default theme completely and remove the banner image, so it can revert to 90% width for those hard of viewing.

Thankyou very much for trying FFS. Was it 90% width before or 100%? Every little helps and any space at the side is wasted, nonetheless any web page should be able to be read (text not off the screen) on the default 100% the car forum I use I can enlarge to 110% but that is a bonus.
Happy Xmas to you and your wife.

Well, after three days off the computer, I have returned and find that the problem seems to have resolved itself.
I've selected several topics with multi pages and the thread nav bar remains in place when scrolling through the pages.
I am now going to try the banner free setting mentioned in your other thread.
Many thanks for persevering, it's appreciated.

I spoke too soon. I now realise the problem is only on the PC as I was on my laptop for my last post.
I'm back on the PC and in reply to your question above the thread navigation bar moves off the screen as I scroll down.

beejay, can you post a screenshot of the bottom of a page where it's not working, ie on your PC?
