I saved it from an ad I had on LBC March 2020 but lost the originals.

@ Mysty, downscaling is easy, upscaling difficult. It is not easy to add missing pixels, so you need a lot of clever guessing intelligence, embedded in not always cheap software (Adobe) and raw processor power. There are other solutions around, read this article.

What is of particular interest in that photo? Because during lockdown the car went from this to this, I have a picture of the back seat before it had car parts on it. No one had ever sat on it.

That is precisely what I feared, and I do mean precisely right down to the engine parts on the back seat and the money up front. I did try very very hard to warn you despite your responses. Your sudden silence after allowing them to collect the vehicle and paying money up front confirmed my worst fears. If you are thinking of recovering the vehicle please note a couple of things of their standard modus operundi. They always immobilise the vehicle by disconnecting the front suspension and removing the driveshafts in response to requests to reclaim the vehicle, it's no coincidence that the driveshaft is in the photo. If you do manage to get the vehicle back (probably very difficult in France) those parts will have been switched for very very oily parts from a completely different vehicle and the expensive vital parts of your engine and ancillaries will be missing. Hopefully you will have assistance juridique who will act on your behalf, I wish you luck, it was a stunning vehicle.
If you are looking for photographs to prove its condition you posted many on your forum.

Your assuming you are right. From memory the car was gone before you said it's a scam long story but will start a new thread later, the story is so far fetched you would think it was made up. They are not getting charged with theft but bad intentions obviously in French. The pictures on the other thread is whats left its almost shelled engine wise harness wise radiator diffs. Just a lump of metal engine wise not even a cylinder head. Its not the end of the world we only gave him 1200 plus the money he got for the parts. You did warn us though.

Mysty2, sorry to hear about these events. I remember the problem you mentioned, late 2020: one morning, without early warning, suddenly, it had lost the will to start the engine. No compression on two cylinders, can it be repaired or not, the garage said it was finished. We discussed several possibilities: leaking gasket, jumped timing belt, glow plug problems, fuel pump, pump relay. It is sometimes hard to say goodbye to a car that was your loyal servant for many years.
