A customer has come out to work on there property and wants to know if he can apply for a long term visa while in France. I had a quick look online and all I can see is you need to apply from the UK, he is British. Anyone with expert knowlage?

The research I did all implied it must be acquired in the UK, but don't take that as gospel, he could fill out all the paperwork online and make an appt etc, but he would need to go to the place twice, once to submit the application and again to collect, as the last time I checked that was the only way, their passport return via post was disfunctional........

You are both right .. the long term visa needs applying for in your home country .. so, in this case, the UK.
