Anyone else getting recording problems as of yesterday? Recording while watching is OK, but scheduled recordings all fail. Same on two Humax boxes, which suggest it's some kind of issue their end.
TIA.

This happened to us yesterday too! Our Humax box was set up to record 2 programmes but failed....🤷♀️. Fortunately we managed to get them manually....

I noticed last night that a programme wasn't recording. I've just checked the recorded listings though and found that only 1 of 5 that were set actually recorded.

Thanks both, good to know it's not the box (shame I didn't think to ask here before doing a factory reset and losing all future planned recordings!)
I've emailed Freesat, I'll post any useful reply.

If there's anything you really don't want to miss while it's being sorted out, here's a temporary workround courtesy of Digital Spy forums:
"had another dig around online, and found a work-around.
Go to Settings>General Settings>Recordings>change the start & end padding times from auto to 2 mins.
This seems to work, of course it has limitations, eg. if you are watching one channel and want to record something that ends at 8pm on one channel and another starting at 9pm on a different channel, you can't because there's now a 4 minute overlap with the recordings."

I successfully recorded 3 programs last night on a Sky box. I wonder if a Humax update has somehow corrupted programmed recordings.

Let alone record 3 programs in a night while watching others. Despite buying one of the very first and really expensive video recorders, a Betamax , the only time in my life I ever borrowed money (it was a good lesson) I have not owned any recording device or recorded a single program since I reckon around 1992, they had got so complicated by then and invariably I screwed it up. I can't say I have ever missed having the facility, perhaps because at that time I stopped watching any series or soap operas havng decided it was a waste of my time and an addiction to some degree.

Do they work today?
Is there a way that they are geo blocking the "record" facility?

Is feeling righteous by not watching TV still a thing?

FUno2. Do you feel that TV is immoral then?
