At 10k I very much doubt it!

Neither of mine had a fosse when I paid a lot more than Mysty&co did for his. The one I'm living in still doesn't have one. There's more to life than a compliant fosse system.

No comment on your non fosse system..

But you just did! any sewage treatment system final discharge must be a minimum of 30m from a stream or river. hey guys, it's a barn. Why should anyone install a fosse septique for animals? This would have a pit somewhere to collect waste from the farm animals.

Which pretty much describes what I've got behind my workshop. Used to be a pig house. I only figured it out while sitting on the khazi outside one morning. I never did discover any means of access to get it emptied. I eventually sunk a 3000 litre tank closer to the house so I could have inside "facilities". The Mrs. was delighted.

What about the septic tank? Approved? It was bought with a CU operational. If it was not possible for any reason to convert the barn into a house it would have been rejected.

What about the septic tank? Approved? It would not have a CU if you could not have a drainage system. The garden is over 2000 sqm of flat dry land so no issue for fitting a standard system. You can have a mico system with as little as 3/8sqm now. As for flooding or the river its about 60 meters lower in the valley so unless we get back to Noahs alleged flooding the barn is safe. Not sure when you last completed a sale but one of the reports now includes flooding. This property is not in a flood zone.
