I don't think it is the moment to change course in Europe, We need sturdy governement , not the "Boris" type or the Grandad American type Macron is good for France! He might be good for France, but he's certainly not good for all the French. Just the wealthy ones.

Well, houpla; although the candidates cannot do anything today, their supporters can. So since our votes are going to cancel themselves out, you might as well not even vote.

Well that's where you're soooo wrong, chum. I'm French and I'll be voting tomorrow with that in mind. So our votes will cancel themselves out... And mine will be the decider!

Without those that produce , there would be none that could profit !

Not really, I've got a commune of around 400 voices situated in a département of 330k habitants, mostly of the same political opinion. You've got....a wife. Who bestows the right to vote but doesn't appear to share your political views. Amusez-vous bien.....

Um, I don't 'sponge' on any state, either, but that's not my definition of wealthy. Over the last 15 years, an awful lot of hard-working French are finding that they're having a job to make ends meet. An imbalance/division is getting worse. How bad does it have to get before a repeat of 1789?

me too , but that won't change by changing the President . It is the way that the world is going. Edit , we work hard every day , just to not have to borrow money

Not so much 'know each other' but over the years, with Total France, French Entrée, The France Forum, Complete France etc etc, some migrated from one to the next. It kills time when it's raining

It might not change with a change of Prés, but it certainly won't change without. What depresses me is the power of the media and press, the manipulation. Scarily akin to UK and USA. It seems nowadays, the French prefer to sound off on social media than get up off their bums and use what's left of democracy to bring about change.

If the French voted their true feelings; Senior Le Pen would have been voted in and none of us would have ever had the chance for residency, let alone have the chance to have a passport.. (e) unless you actually married a french citizen.(/e)
