Why is it even a "topic" or conversation now?
The medical professionals associated with every 1st world country (I will include the UK) told us this a long time ago.....
Now it is monkey pox, next bird flu..

Maybe because Monkey pox has killed perhaps one person in the western world to date, while even in Spain, Covid has killed 106k people and over 1m in your home country.

Something to note if you have visitors arriving in the summer or if you're planning a trip to Fraggle Rock, I was asked for my pass sanitaire at Poitiers between disembarking and entering the terminal, as were all passengers. Two douaniers, totally independent of the passport check indoors. I've no idea of the consequences of not having one.

A prize for who can identify which head in this photo taken during La Fête de la Musique belongs to me, to make it easier for you I am the one not wearing a mask!! scontent-cdg2-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t39.30808-6/289914701_2049809071871011_1973347615220942844_n.jpg?_nc_cat=111&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=730e14&_nc_ohc=gvBpSObYVmcAX-ldphL&_nc_ht=scontent-cdg2-1.xx&oh=00_AT-mqCwkTFTIYITPCr4Fw5P9jTgpYdIBGrdIexBPFMwo-A&oe=62BA93B5It was quite emotional hearing decent Blues for the first time ever in France and some 20 years since I was a regular in the UK but most of all to see so many people out enjoying themselves en masse for the first time in 2.5 years, there were thousands there, maybe tens of thousands, the streets are so narrow that you cannot get an idea of how many but all the streets were as crammed as this photo. I saw but one person wearing a mask I first arrived, a fantastic night out and something I so needed, I was there till the end and I did not see one single intoxicated person, just happy well behaved revellers, the Police Municipale could enjoy the evening as much as the rest of us. A totally different affair to those I attended in Picardie before I wised up, where the bands were dire making what can most kindly be described as "untunefull noise" and the audience steaming drunk with fights erupting continuously.

Had my second booster jab yesterday, was disappointed to read this morning only 25% of those eligible had had theirs.

The hospitals / places in our 25km radius that were available before I simply not showing as offering. OH off to the pharmacy this morning so will ask there.

The local centres have mostly closed .. now many pharmacies give the boosters plus the local nurses will come and give you the jab at your home.

The pharmacy worked for us - they weren't on the Doctolib list but when I asked where the nearest place was she said she would do it - job done!

We have heard the same news about the pharmacies. We might get another jab if its that easy. I'm reluctant to go through the palaver with Doctolib a fourth time.

All four of my jabs were done at different pharmacies in different towns, I even managed to cock-up the rdv for the third one and went to the wrong pharmacy but they were still able to fit me in. They call me Lucky Tim.
