When I came to look at the site just now I was surprised to find that I could see all the posts without having to log in first. Have you changed the system? Maybe I've missed a post and you've said that was going to happen. I actually preferred it how it was. Seems like you're right Mrs A.
I think we've been here before. Not much point being a member if anyone can post without joining .

I set it like that so that support staff from ProBoards admin can see the forum in order to resolve an issue I asked them about.

I have changed it so that Guests can see everything BUT they can't reply or post; if they try to they get this popup message:
They also see this info at the bottom of the page:
