Several news outlets saying Johnson will face a VoC tonight as the 54 letter target has been reached. Squeaky bum time in the marginals, me thinks.

It's the beginning of the end for Johnson but changes little for the way the UK will be governed until the next election.

Sadly, I think there are enough useful idiots on the front and back benches that he will survive.
I'm sure Labour hope he survives, being as he is their biggest electoral asset.

I think he'll survive, but not by many votes, making this hopefully the beginning of the end for him and the Tories.

Yes I think he’ll survive it saddens me as those who might vote to keep him in office are more bothered about saving their own parliamentary seat than actual what’s best for the country, nobody, and I include Keir Starmer in this, seems to have a clear idea of how the country should be run and what policies there actually are to improve the lot of ordinary people, going back to Tony Blair, love him or loathe him, he did come to power with a clear idea and things in the NHS, schools and Local Government did improve, I’m resigned now that if I get a serious illness I’ll die before I’m treated, probably even before I get a GP appointment. I’m just too old fashioned but any sense of doing the honourable and right thing when you’ve done something wrong now just appears to be a ridiculous idea to politicians. Rant over for the day, sorry. I’ll get back to my book now.

Of course he will survive cos there’s no immediate successor.

And in the "mother of parliaments" that is a good enough reason.

I wonder if there will ever be a statue of Johnson?

Let's start saving some eggs for that possibility.

I wonder if there will ever be a statue of Johnson? If there is it will look like something I stepped in on our daily walk.

Apparently a statue of Jeremy Corbyn is planned which features real tears and it will have a current running through it so the pigeons can only sh*t from high up! Maybe Borees will have a big family group with all his wives, kids and blowbys!

I hope he doesn't survive the vote because I can't stand his smug, smirking, lies!
However I think he will just get by

Most of my prayers are for my husband at the moment, but I diverted some towards the downfall of Johnson.

I hope he survives not everyone knows he _UCKED the UK with brexit. You even have hard-core brexit MPs who say we need to get into the single market. Anyway boris says the best is still to come so give him some more time.
