@ Annabellespapa, about a tiny little roadster. I saw her for the first time this wednesday morning. Never spotted her before on the road somewhere in Europe. A really limited edition. She is from Italy, or should I say: designed by Pininfarina. Born in 2008, 111,479 km and price label € 5930. A special edition: the Mitsubishi Colt CZC.

The Audi TT is a sports car from Audi AG that is offered as a coupé and a roadster. The abbreviation TT stands for Tourist Trophy, derived from the traditional motorbike race, the Isle of Man TT.

Back to the OP. I think that is a Renault NN from the 20s. It's a bit old for me to add anything else. My earliest car is 1937 and I'm not really up on the older machines. Might be a good buy if more was known.

Might be a good buy if more was known. Probably an NN2 from 1928 onwards, I don't think the NN had front brakes. A bit steep on price, a reasonable condition fully running version will be from €10k. Actually if you have the space, an NN2 is a great introduction to 20s motoring. A fully restored one is only €15k and has proper character!

Approximately how much would need to be invested to bring the vehicle in op to roadworthy condition?

imgur.com/a/Fo76bnZApologies, I have been trying to reduce the size of the photo to post, went back to Imgur to do it, so hopefully you will see a picture (if you click on the above) of the Audi TT roadster we have just bought.

Approximately how much would need to be invested to bring the vehicle in op to roadworthy condition? It depends on the missing bits. Saying that you can find the missing components second hand as there are plenty of them kicking around in barns. Most of the investment would be in time, stripping and cleaning and painting. And driving places to pick up second hand parts. So my guess would be a couple of grand in parts and 3,000 hours of your time. On the subject of the AudiTT, used to have one as a my wife's car. Horrible thing.

I'm not such a great fan of early European stuff, although I have the greatest respect for people who can dedicate so much time, cash, and skill to restoring them. My heart beats for American cars from 1928 to the late 30's. Owned several nice original ones during my affluent (much younger) years. My only regret is not having one today.

The real advantage of the early American cars is parts availability.
You can buy almost anything new or old stock.
Having an early Citroen myself you can't find much new and what there is is pricey.
