He won't be with us until September so hope his breeder gives lots of socialisation. It's very important with cats at a young age

What a beautiful kitten. Did you go to see him or did the breeder send you the photos?
Edit I just read your post on the other thread. Clearly the breeder sent you the photos. Bet you can't wait for that first cuddle and to play with him.

Bet you can't wait for that first cuddle and to play with him. We did go to the breeder to choose him. We'll also go again in a couple of weeks, but yes the breeder sends photos weekly. |

Update photos and news. He's had his first vaccinations and chip, he's being sterilised on 10 September and if all is well we can bring him home after our UK trip. He looks kinda mean I think but lovely 😍 Look at the size of his paws  Attachments:

All my life I've had cats, all from RSPCA, found abandoned and a cat napped one that was being mistreated. We still have a grey abandoned one and the ginger one we saved.
I'm also considering a Norwegian Forest Cat, another pedigree similar to a Maine. I thought the 2 kittens together would be nice,and also it's my favourite colour, ginger.
Having Sherlock, a pedigree cat, is going to be a new adventure, one that I've dreamed of for years although I do feel guilty for not taking on another rescue.
You can be sure Mrs A I will be posting lots of photos and news.
I don't like spending money but for once in my lifetime I'm throwing caution to the wind.

It seems one step forward and 2 steps back. Our ginger moggie enters the area of the dogs at his peril. I'm trying to train them "leave", they do if the cat stays still but the minute he moves they're interested in him again. A New photo or two received today Attachments:
