I received the following message, apparently from Meta
‘ After a review of your Facebook account ****.*/, its access to advertising is now restricted because of inauthentic behaviour or violations of our Advertising Policies or Community Guidelines. Any ads connected to this Facebook account that were running are now disabled ‘
I can’t think what the fec it refers to, but, as my account still seems to be working as I can still able to log on to links that appear on my FB page.
There is a box that I am informed that I can reinstate my account..
As yet, I am not bothered by the supposed inauthenticities but I am curious as to what they are supposed to have been.
Has anybody any info regarding this ?

what is the address you are forwarded to when you "hover" over the link?
That alone will tell you if anything is a "spam" email..

How do I hover over the link ? On an I-Pad ? Again, i do not know or care about pomme products but on android or microsoft products you put you little "arrow" over the link, normally in a blueish tint and look in the bottom left corner and it will tell you what website you are about to click to go to

How do I hover over the link ? On an I-Pad ? I think you can see the link redirection details on an iPad if you place your finger on the link and hold it still. The data relating to the link will appear for you to inspect it. After you have read enough, remove your finger and you will be back to the start without activating the link. I have tested it just now.

Sorry.. I have and do use an android tablet but it's only use is for showing prospective "buyers" pictures of boys or girls for their promotion... An easy "photo book" with out the paper... All of our scouts and representatives have them.

The message appeared in my FB Notifications. It does looks kosher. But, I can’t understand what I have supposed to have written, FTM what I have supposed to have lost. I don’t feel inclined to fill in any boxes and I do not knowingly use FB to advertise anything.

Fairly standard phishing attempt.
