The French govt has set aside 230 million euro to help those who use oil central heating this winter, but as yet I can find no confirmation on how it will be awarded. Anyone know what's happening? I normally buy oil in Sept but am loath to do it until I know what will happen.

I am guessing thats because the heating oil has gone up like road fuel or will go up before winter, they have already protected the electricité consumers so need to do so for those who heat by fioul.
So what about LPG? To my great surprise bottled propane that I will have to heat with again this winter has not gone up even one centime, perhaps its a regulated price? Those of you with citernes of propane, has the price gone up for you?
What about those who did (what they were told was) the right thing and who invested in pellet burners, their fuel has quadrupled hasn't it or was it doubled? Clearly no state control on the price of that commodity.

Fioul domestique has gone up about 60% this year, and about 80% in total over the last 18 months. It's our biggest energy spend so I'm hoping that we will receive some relief.

1.8 round us - we were about to start sucking debris so couldn't put it off anymore. There was a weird discount superior was cheaper than normal grade but eye watering nonetheless for should get us through winter ....maybe.

Us farmers can apply for a 30% deduction off the MSA cotisations for the difference in gasoil price.

I thought you had your own trees to cut down and burn ? Nope. Not me. We have a lot of trees on the edge of the property but rarely any dead or dying ones to cut. I have two earmarked to come down as soon as the leaves have gone but they won't be ready to burn for a couple of years and then they won't last more than a month.

Our own price progression September 21 0.89 €/l December 21 0.97 €/l April 22 1.44 €/l
