We just fitted a vinyl floor T and G style which interlocks. Simple and quick to fit and just 20 euros a sqm. As it was   Finished  |

I do like those interlocking vinyl tiles. Might be using them when I do the kitchen in our new house.

It is great stuff isn't it and really hard wearing! I also use it for splashbacks, cladding bathroom cabinets etc that I have made from tablettes and general decoration.
I find it still a little to expensive compared to laminate flooring and lacking the edge chamfer that can make the wooden plank effect ones more realistic but for smaller areas its superb, I have used it in my caravan, it transformed it.
I have the same tiles in my house, ALBOF would have told you to paint them!

He knows more than the rest of us.☺ Good quality laminate flooring has got exspensive. 24 / 40 a sqm to get something good we went for a 7 euro promo one for this house to keep the costs down. |

That has always been my budget, and yes, they cost a lot more now. If you only wanted to make that floor look better as per the title then you could have just vomited on it! My one has been improved over the decades by all sorts of unknown dodgy substances, everything really except for cleaning products  |
