Does anyone here know which brico disjoncteur's are compatible with the Siemens range, ie the busbars align at the top ?
The Siemens 2A are pricey for some reason....

Most manufacturers use a different pitch, backset or stagger to force people to use their own. You have several choices. Bite the bullet and pay up. Fit a cheapy on the end of the rangée and connect it with wire jumpers Find a cheapy that has the same polarity for want of a better word, eg phase top left rear, neutre top right front and then file and bend the teeth on the peigne until they go in, this is possible but a lot harder than it seems if you want to retain a reasonable cross section area to prevent fracture, current carrying capacity is not an issue.
€14.90 is not expensive compared to what the marque ones were when I did all my electrics, even Nalto charge much more for the 2 ampere one, if you have other contacteurs etc to fit then worth doing a search but otherwise for the cost its not worth bodging a peigne.

Because there is little call for 2 & 6 A disjoncteurs they are considerably more expensive that the other sizes. As said, pay the money or go around the shops with a Siemens in hand and compare and contrast. Take a tissue. The idea of bending the peigne is not so far off, to make it easier leave a space between disjoncteurs.

I am no electrician, but I noticed if you go to the bottom of your link there is one advertised as €8.90, it is Siemens and if you then click on it and specify 2a it says €12.90. Again, no electrician but what is so delicate that it needs 2a ?

There's 5.90 delivery on that one also AP.....Thank you for mentioning though.......When we moved in, the vent system of 3 vents and one of those fans in the loft was on a 2A breaker, just replacing like for like, I forget the french name for the system........the wiring looks like its 10 or 13A ish, so i guess they were just being cautious........

2a is probably advisable for a VMC, since insulation in loft spaces the VMC sits on top of it (it should be suspended) and the fan can get very hot, I luckily escaped a fire when I noticed a slight change in fan noise, went into the loft, the VMC was suspended by string that had weathered and was sitting on the insulation and was on an angle, there was some charring of the insulation and I ratchet strapped the motor to a beam, told a French neighbour who said that his mother's house burnt down that way.

I suspended my vent fan with wires for that very reason.

You both have me worried now, mine is in the loft I believe and has been turned off for over a year, I am very reluctant to power it up until i have seen its location and state.........I was already hesitant, now even more LoL

A 2 ampere disjoncteur is obligatoire for a VMC or asservissement current for HP/HC switching. In all other cases the maximum disjoncteur rating is set to protect against wiring overheating.
No way should a VMC caisson ever get hot enough to char insulation even if buried under it, most of them are thermoplastic, you have something else going on there, perhaps an exposed connector put under strain and had become loose. An arc carrying the 1/8 amp typical VMC current is more than enough to create a fire but insulation and the pare vapeur should have M0 fire protection.

As we speak I have 6 running elsewhere, used to be 8!

I know, but the entrance to the loft is very small, and I am not a big chap by any means, quite the opposite, and its gonna be a tight squeeze......

It's like Potholing getting into my grenier, without a ladder poking through you can just about slip through if you are strong enough but the risk of a stepladder falling is just too great for me working on my own, I have a roof leak so need to get up there soon.
