Possibly because it exposes deep rooted racism at all levels of society. One might say even world leading racism.

All societies have some racism, UK being no exception.

Ah, but I've heard is said the UK has world beating exceptionalism. I think it was Jame O'brian on LBC.

aw come on , the lady was 83 years old , probably a little mixed up? But it has to be made into a major catastrophe !
"The Sistah Space is a specialist charity that supports African & Caribbean heritage women affected by domestic and sexual abuse, UK wide."
THAT sounds a bit racist to me ? Only for African and Caribbean ladies !

I'm not sure if this is worse or not but the lady in question is actually Prince William's godmother.

Her age doesn’t excuse her behaviour when I first heard it I thought she must have had drink taken.

Her age doesn’t excuse her behaviour when I first heard it I thought she must have had drink taken. But now ,SHE is the one that is accused of being racist , while, as I noted ,the charity set up by the younger lady is obviously racist !

People are issued with name badges for security reasons, if you cover it with your hair then don't take exception if someone uncovers it, it's hardly assault and what the flip is "non physical violence"? If she were in France it would be completely normal for someone to ask her what her origine was and I don't think anyone would respond in that way. It would not be considered racism.
I have neighbours who are French but clearly first generation immigrants like myself, one family I believe are of Sri Lankan origin, the other Afro-Carribean, only my impression from speaking to them, they are both French and I am not (yet).
Another Français de souche neighbour says that the first family are Marocaine, not d'origine Marocaine, I think Sri Lankan or possibly Indian and will have no reservations about asking them, I'm sure they don't want to be mislabelled.
What a shame she didn't get to meet Prince Phillip, he would not have been led down the path like that.

In an endeavour to quell my confusion I soon ended up in some pretty nasty looking places where the integrity was astounding
If you are curious you could end up there to. No guarantees mind Maybe search
Ngozi Fulani and Sistah Space

What a silly woman to even complain, is she after money? After all the lady was only asking where exactly the family were from. Yes the moaner said she was from London several times but surely after a few repeats of where she was from, surely she realised the lady was simply asking where the family originally were from. She could have quite nicely told the lady where, instead of trying to make something out of nothing?

Somebody special once told me that there was no such thing as bad publicity.
@ Robert Yup.
No reason to get excited.
The other two riders will be here soon enough.
"non physical violence"
Bit of a conundrum that one.
