Came back from shopping to discover an enormous dump of dog crap on our neighbours front lawn and the edge of our drive. Just had the unpleasant job of removing the stuff.

I did that, I collected them with a pooperscooper and returned them to their doorstep, the "disgusting owner" laid a cable in my rémorque the night they moved out  |

Don't believe the reactions to this posting but it doesn't surprise me one iota. You are all so keen on mentioning Selby I may start a thread about it. From what I've heard of the places were omegal and Jackie live it is far superior. I you want I can mention the places where they hang out. But,no,I'm not a bavardage!  |

I don't care where you live Joseph and will neither judge you by it or use it against you.
If you are living where you wanted to be and still want to be there you are fortunate and have my admiration.
Today I have been hearing just a few of the horror stories about the previous owners of my new house, it has taken the neighbours 9 months to start opening up and I can tell there is far worse to recount if they ever do, even though todays tale happened more than 40 years ago, maybe even more than 50 years ago it was too painfull for the lady to recount without choking up and having to look away.
No wonder everyone seemed so pleased that I had moved in and seemed relatively normal by what they had become desensitised to, that I am teetotal was very well recieved, at the time I had not understood why.

When we moved here , we were told how wonderful the old owners were ,that had died 7 years before. Then the neighbours sent the gendarme to check us out , because we were " of course" drug dealers ! 
As far as dog poo goes , one of our neighbours is German and brings her dog down our lane to have a crap , we never see our dog's poo , he goes into the woods to do it , quite a gentleman.
