I am currently trying to watch something on bbc2. the program keeps stopping and circular buffering symbol appears in the screen. Is there any way that I can download this programme and watch without interruption?

Thanks for that Robert. I think the problem may have been that too many other people were using the same main feed line. Tomorrow is another day as they say and I hope the symptoms are gone by then.

If you are in the UK and have a TV licence, BBC iPlayer has an option to download most programmes and to view them for up to 30(?) days. You can also use the program get_iplayer.

Actually, it is not that much of a problem as I rarely watch TV. Yesterday the follow up to the program about castles that was shown last week interested me enough to want to see it, I think that it will keep for another month, or maybe another year.

Thanks for that. Looks like there is loads of televised stuff on you tube. Seems that the problem that we experienced last night was due to a fault in the local reception or whatever. It has been rectified and things are looking good. Weird, presently 17 degrees c with no heating on. I have just stopped watching some program about Claridge’s that was apparently made circa 2019. Mind boggling, so much so that I suspect that the Beeb are complicit in ntrying to pull a fast one. Suite’s £100,000 per night! They are building castles in the sky. Mind bogglingly stupid imo, Impressive engineering though. If it lasts. Fancy trying to build somthing so substantial on top of two underground rivers. No surprises that they were encountering streaming problems of a more sinister nature. When the Thames Barrier fails then they will a real streaming problem.
Edit. Has anybody watched the episode about castles that features historian Elias Kaufman? I think it will probably be about Windsor which was one of the twelve forts that William’s mob built around London. It was originally made of wood.
So they would float……
Got me thinking, so I searched ‘ is clariages a private business ‘
the results got me thinking even more.
