We bought this farmhouse probably 1998/99 era but started work around 2004. The pictures were pre smart phone demon got in the last one. It was one of our nicest kitchens built from olive wood now we are on eco mode and its brico depot. As it was, click the pictures to enlarge. 2008 or 09 with a very young demon

Well done! Only one question: ceiling height there? When you are almost two meters high these things matter. About old pictures: I'm getting rid of many old manuals. Also the one of the pre-smartphone Nokia 6230. Already with a camera, only 1.3 MP. And believe it or not: a colour display! In 2005 this was a little miracle.....Nice to see a young Demon asking: What's going on there outside?

It did not have 2.50 clearance down stairs or upstaires. No permit needed as it was described as a farmhouse. I could walk about without hitting my head and im just under 2m

While having sleepless nights with a hacking cough (only when I lay down) I started browsing the photos on my computer. OK. Mysty, that reminded me of my renovation pics, so I sorted some out from our watermill. (Which came free with the house nearby) Before After Soon available for holiday let, but still a shyload of work to do.

That's a rebuild and very nice now. The coughing will hang about for a couple of weeks mine has almost gone now.

Now that is a renovation not just a coat of paint and some curtains!

That looks absolutely lovely, what a place to spend a holiday in when it’s finished, Polarengineer.
Sorry to read about others with that awful cough; trying to sleep upright helps, but it does seem to go on forever!
