OH tells me the border inside a window is called the 'reveal'. Does anyone know what it is called in French please?

I was going to say rebords de fenêtre but I think that is only the cill, so contour de fenêtre.

The reveal on a French window is on the outside, they would usually sit flush with the wall on the inside, if a contra cloison and insulation has been added & the existing window remains in place then the reveals are usually tapis d'isolation because they would clip onto a UPVC window, I do mine with placo.
I only mention it because the person whom you are communicating with will probably think you are talking about the external reveal.

The rebords or contour sounds right, thanks. The window is 'inset' into the wall with a sill in front and the 'border' on 3 sides, so rebords or contour sounds right.
