Unbelievable... There are still about 9,000 cock-fights a year taking place in Northern France, apparently because such lovely old traditions must be preserved. Article from Ouest-France

I get huge, and I do mean really huge spiders in the caravane, during the spell of warm weather a couple of weeks ago they made a reappearance, they are so big that they make a real mess if I swat them during the night, I then realised I could suck them up in my cordless cyclone cleaner to release them into the garden.
I caught the first one late evening, then another during the night and had forgotten about them, a friend came round in the afternoon and I wanted to show him how big the corpses were as the first one was inanimate when I sucked up the second.
To my surprise some 18 hours later they were locked in mortal combat and continued when released.

They was a hunt sans fusil down the road from us yesterday- hare coursing with hounds. I would have thought hares could outrun hounds easily but even so 🤔🙄🙄🙄🙄
