I was meaning cottage cheese pcpa, have never tried faiselle. Cottage cheese is basically curds and whey, the first step of the cheese making process. You can make it yourself by boiling milk and adding vinegar to separate it into said curds and whey.
Can’t believe getting all uppity and defensive about blimmin cottage cheese of all things! 😆

One of our neighbours works at a local factory here in dept 22, she brings us free samples of flavoured fromage blanc and I think faisselle that the factory makes, yuk and they come in large containers that end up going off in the fridge.

I had tarte au fromage blanc recently and it was sublime! I think I have to try this! Coincidentally I had lunch out on Wednesday and the dessert was a cheesecake, the consistency of which I've never come across before - very soft and almost floppy. I was trying to work out what it could be. Perhaps that was made with fromage blanc or Faisselle? Delicious in any case especially for someone whose dessert is normally fruit and/or plain yogurt.

It is probably aimed at the French market since it has an image of BigBen and a”city gent” politely raising his (bowler) hat and carrying a furled umbrella under his arm. I guess that these would not have a positive sales effect on many from UK.
