We spent a lot of holidays in the Somme and it was the first area where we went house-hunting. Is it within 3/4 hour of the sea? The Somme has a coastline and several staion balnières.

The Somme has a coastline and several staion balnières. Yes, that's where we spent several holidays. I was asking if the house was within 3/4 hr of the sea but that wasn't clear. The Somme stretches east quite a long way from the sea.

I was an hour and a half away.
Customers used to leave bad reviews saying it was a long way from the sea, its a long way from the moon as well but what does that have to do with anything I thought.
Years later when one explained truthfully for a change the reason for their cancelation they admitted that they had thought the hôtel was on a station balnéaire that shares the last 4 letters of my village name but looks and sounds nothing like it!
You know you are going to get a bad review when someone asks which wat to walk to the beach!
