I don't understand it either, but I think the answer to this one is Madeira. crazy = mad; terrorists = ira (I'm not sure where the e comes from) and Madeira is a tipple. Sorry veem, not Madeira. think Italian……

I guess it must be Marsden, but I've no idea why other than Mars = a sweet and den = an animal's home. But I can't see any indication in the clue that the answer is a Yorkshire town.

Strange that I haven’t heard of a village in the Colne Valley with an estimated population of 3768 inhabitants in 2020 (according to wiki) I really need to get out more. Barnsley, much bigger on the other hand, almost fits.
