I just received a form to prove I'm alive from my private, not government, pension. The letter was dated 18 September and arrived 16 October. Upon getting it all signed tried to send it via email (after scanning) as requested. Email address given didn't work and nor their phone number. Will send through the overland post system!

I was sent a 'Proof of Life' form last May that I duly completed and returned. The UK International Pensions Centre (IPC) claimed that they didn't receive it - and so in September they sent me another 'Proof of Life' form (CF(N)698). At the same time they put a Stop on my pension. I sent the form off by return of post.
I called the IPC a week ago and I was assured that they'd received my completed 'Proof of Life' form and that my pension would be unlocked.
Just checked my bank statement and of course there's no sign of my pension payment. I've tried several times this morning to contact the IPC by phone (00 44 191 218 7777) but after pressing the suggested buttons, they're not answering.
Does anyone (apart from monsieur3seas!) have an email address for the IPC? Many thanks in advance.

Hi, Sorry to hear of your problem with HMRC. my latest Proof of Life which I received at the beginning of August was in English only and so I had to request the French version. After spending 35 minutes on hold I eventually spoke to a human being who said that he would email it to me. You might try stephen.mullan@dwp.gouv.uk It isn't marked as a no-reply address so it might get through. Good luck!

Thanks for that aucamville - but I managed to find an email enquiry form buried on the IPC's site. I used it earlier this morning to request that my pension is re-started - but I noticed in the small print that they can take up to 10 days to reply.. I'll fire off another broadside to the address you posted above..! (Edited to add: Done!) Many thanks Nutty

I should have said that it worth sending these wretched forms back via La Poste Recommande, it cost me €8,50 but you get tracking until it leaves France and then it goes onto the Royal Mail Tracking. When it's delivered you then get the date, time, the name and signature of the person signing so no dispute. Best wishes!

Am I missing something here? What is IPC. I have used La Poste Recommande twice for DWP Proof of Life Documents and for HMRC documents and it has worked perfectly every time. You have to go online to check the traciking details both in France and the UK, they do not advise you automatically. Yes, it is expensive but for me, worth it for peace of mind to know that the documents have been delivered. Are you any further on with your problem with the DWP. Best wishes.

I spoke to them a few months ago to initiate my claim (which should start this week) and found them extremely efficient and helpful. But os course YMMV.

I won't bore you with any more details of this continuing saga.. suffice to say that the advisor I spoke to at the International Pensions Centre (IPC) last week told me that my 'Proof of Life' form had been received - but I discovered this morning that he had failed to authorise the reinstatement of my pension payment at the time.
I spoke to another advisor this morning who reinstated it on the spot but she informed me that it will still take 5-10 working days to be actioned.
