Sadly there is no charity that caters for the wolf. We will leave money to the SPA but never to the head office in Paris.. Really? www.aves.asso.fr/le-loup/or www.ifaw.org/fr/animaux/loupsor www.aspas-nature.org/nos-combats/loup/or OK I'm getting bored now. Do your own research. The 3 pro wolf organisations you have provided as examples all say what I have known for a long time - educate the live stock breeders - it isn't working in numbers. The over breeding president of the EU lost an old horse because she couldn't be bothered to make sure it was safe at night and most importantly, though grossly over paid like all the desk jockies in the EU, couldn't be bothered to buy and maintain a couple of 'wolfdogs' to protect her animals even though she could easily get tax relief. So she is going to make sure that the hunters get their way to kill. The reason why the huge Romanian forests and the Carpathian mountains were and to an extent still are full of wolves/bison/wildcat etc. is that the red fascist dictator Ceausescu and his cronies had exclusive rights to hunt. The Romanian sheep herders have never had a problem with wolves because they knew the value of having huge dogs to protect their flocks. The ordinary Romanians not being allowed to hunt never built up the organisations of cowardly vermin known as hunters unlike France,Spain, Italy etc. These scum have very powerful lobbies with many MPs being members. These pro wolf orgs. may become more successful in time with livestock owners but it is the hunters who will resist where they will have little success. So, for those reasons I have never thought that my/our donations would do any real good. In a 'real' society the wolf could play a very active role I but having known for a long time that my idea of a healthy society is very much a minority one. We would happily donate to organisations that 'directly' protected wolf packs.
