I thought it was problems my end. And since your post it now appears normal.

According to Johnny, who looked on the ProBoard site, there were problems on other sites - so, potentially a server problem or similar. Anyhow it seems to have been resolved.

Yep they seem to have had a technical issue that affected a lot of their forums, it's now resolved.
Proboards said about an hour ago.......UPDATE: All forums should be loading fine now.

I thought it might be the same problem I have, but it wasn’t. - I’m having to sign in every couple of days, but it takes only a few seconds to do that, placing my fingers, so not a huge problem.

Sometimes if the company is doing updates or whatever they do to keep things working they do it at night which is probably morning here. I could not get the site to load early this morning.

Don't answer if you don't want to .. Or send me a pm if you want to reply, but privately. It seems a lot of people log out every time they visit. Is it because their browsers clear their cookies every night ?
Or is it just Apple products that are producing this requirement to log in every few days ?

Sue, it’s the only problem I have - nothing else has this happening at all and it started fairly recently. I use a few forums and use my ipad, as I do for other websites.
As I said, I just have to touch my finger on my ipad twice and I’m in - but slightly irritating to go to put my Wordle results up and find I’m logged out, so up to the top to log in. It does ensure I’m awake! 😁

Ah .. me neither. I don't log out at all and only have to log-in if the Proboards server does an update or equivalent. So your problem gigi is possibly because your cache is pretty full and needs clearing out. Unfortunately I have no idea how you do this on an ipad.

Nor have I, Sue - but do you know why that should be a problem only on this forum and not others? It’s not a huge problem on here, but interesting why it should be just on here.

On that point I have no idea why you sometimes face that snag on this forum gigi. I don't have the same problem on here.
