We had very strong wind last night but the Creuse had a tornado so we got off lightly.Good grief .. that's not at all pleasant. Seems we got off lightly too.

Very mild, no wind, drizzle due to turn to rain later. Good soil wetting weather = prospect of grass.

Torrential here, max 14°C. Don't care It's soaking the ground to a decent level and topping up the water table, so just what we needed.

A bit selfish, though...What about, for example, onion, garlic and melon growers? Little and often but at night....that would be perfect

Weather is very localised , so your drought can start today with my blessing. runfl

Minor showers today with mainly grey skies. Wind from south west are warmer than previous days. 15 degrees so definitely improved. Fields in front of the house have a lot of water running like wee river. The two springs nearby wild and the main source of the flooded fields.

Yesterday morning was glorious; very mild, calm and sunny. But then the rain came (I know we need it) and it was torrential for a while before settling into a good steady rhythm. By comparison today's sky is different and the same wind that is sending the clouds scudding is blowing strongly on the ground too!

Gloriously sunny and warm .. as long as you are out of the gusty wind. Down on one beach the wind was creating wonderful mares' tails in the sea. Being buffeted by the wind I couldn't remain upright, so we moved on. On another beach a few dedicated kite-surfers were skimming over the water at very high speeds. Amazing to watch as they are so skilful.

Sunny and warm early morning. Just as well because we organised for our car to have a complete valeting. Pouring down with rain now at 20.10 UK time.

Brighten start to the day, sunshine and bits of cloud with a mild south west breeze. Ground water is gradually starting subsiding but will take a few days. Temperatures 14- 15 degrees.

It was foggy first thing, but that cleared early on to leave a mostly sunny, very calm, mild day. Suddenly spring flowers are beginning to display their colours.

Very spring-like here today. 19C and sunny with a few fluffy clouds. The ground's damp still....doesn't get any better
