Sunshine accompanied by gale force wings making temperatures feel a wee bit cooler.
Making sure nothing left around to cause any damage.

Torrential rain overnight very high winds, trees bent in all directions. Bright sunshine as I type. Weird.

A bit blowy at 70kmph and repeat performance tomorrow and Sunday, but with added rain. As per usual, it really makes you feel for those who work all week and so look forward to the weekends. Especially when it's forecast to be gloriously sunny from Monday onwards....

It poured all day yesterday and all evening/night. Borders no longer have limits, flooding has taken over onto lawns, with primrose flowers floating gracefully. This is probably the worst flooding we’ve had in the 40 years we’ve lived here.

After a reasonably calm night, off we go again with the westerly gale. At least the forecast for next week is looking good. Chilly but sunny which makes all the difference!

High winds yesterday with rain and still pretty windy today. Nice warm and dry in the house . Wood to split and stack this afternoon. We are in 87 and had thunder, lightening and a heavy fall of hailstones as well as high winds yesterday. Heavy rain again today but not as windy.

Grey but dry, and set to be like that all day. I notice that the forecast for next week n my area is bright but cold, down to below zero on occasion. Good time to start gardening in earnest.

Grey sky with short periods of sunshine.. Winds have dropped but still not warm. We need some warmth, hope we don’t have to wait to much longer.

No rain overnight, thank goodness, so although the borders etc still look very damp it’s definitely all looking more normal. Grey, breezy and chilly this morning, sunshine arrived from about noon, and on going down to a compost heap it was lovely to see that so many bushes are wakening up, particularly the acers.
Sadly, it looks as though the fuchsia I took as a cutting from my childhood home about 50 years ago, hasn’t lasted the winter. Fingers crossed though, there's still a chance if we get more sinshine/warmer weather.
