It's supposed to have been raining all afternoon so I organised my activities accordingly. It didn't arrive! Not that I'm exactly complaining, it's just that the washing smells so much better if it's out on a line than going into the tumble drier

I am still using an electric blanket at night. This is the coldest and wettest July for some years here in north 24.

The rain that was forecast fir Berkshire has arrived, and as it’s spread from the west it could arrive at Wembley during the match - if not before.

We have such light rain that it is almost imperceptible. However, rain to some degree (including that on its way with thunder storms) is forecast solidly for the next 3 days. The temperatures are sufficiently low to warrant wearing a fleece hoodie.
Thank goodness we're not in the area on a camping holiday.

The rain continued through the night and this morning but has now stopped and is brightening up, although it's forecast to return around teatime.
From tomorrow it’s forecast to be dry, with sunshine and warmer temperatures for most of the week. ☀️

Rain, rain and a bit more rain. On the bright side there isn't much wind but to compensate, thunderstroms are predicted for the afternoon ☔

Remind me of the date, please!
This morning rain and 16°C, yesterday, sun scorching the flags...

Above us only clouds in the Nièvre and it keeps raining. Time for a shed cleanout.

Continued raining this morning. The hay will not get cut for a few more days yet, it is a disaster as I need to move the horses soon.

Continued raining this morning. The hay will not get cut for a few more days yet, it is a disaster as I need to move the horses soon. I'm confused now as to who you are Ark. Horses? That's Vic, Stompie, Crystal, me and a couple of others....... A horsey friend nearby still hasn't got her hay cut as the farmer who does it is busy day and night with new calves. As hay, whenever it's cut now, it's going to be pretty poor. We have a different problem. We can't feed hay (very old boy hasn't the teeth to cope now and colics if he tries to eat long stems) so we're having to keep the constantly growing grass topped over a very large area.
