Can I just check here as I have missed a week or so, has anything changed with regards to traveling to/from France since we went in July? We are out again next week
We are both double vaxxed so need no test to get into france, is that correct? We only need proof of vax?
and on return we still need a PCR test in France within 48 hours of reutrn?
and a prebooked day 2 test for the PLF still?
Anything else i may have missed?

On return to UK you will need a test within 72 hours.

Not sure exactly when you were last out but if you only have a UK vaccination pass you should get it transferred to an EU one via the app. Cafes, restaurants and even some open air public events require you to have your pass verified and the system does not recognise the UK QR codes.

You only need a lateral flow test, which is provided by many pharmacies, for your return test. Within 48 hours

LeDolly is correct, at some time the 48 hours got raised to 72 which removes a lot of the stress, it now simply says "results of a negative Covid test" (or something like that) and the details are as clear as mud "you must discuss with your test provider if it meets the requirements" I do a Passe Sanitaire self test which is validated by my pharmacienne, that way I know in 10 minutes if I can make what always now has to be a last minute booking.
The certificates (I have travelled twice on them) have been accepted by the Port contrôles.

Exile, our NHS vax certs import OK into the Tous Covid app, is that not sufficient?

That’s what we’ve done with ours and assume that they will work - planning to cross around 20th if medical ‘stuff‘ allows. A friend has been in our town for a month, says hers works fine and is needed at all cafés and restaurants in town that she’s been to - and she’s been to quite a few.

Just had an email from Brittany Ferries also, we need a sworn undertaking form filled in for each of us also, they link to it so you can print out.

Was just about to remind you of the Declaration sur l'honneur. Available in French and English but I've completed mine in French just in case.

We arrived in France from UK on Tuesday and the French customs accepted our declarations in English. I had printed out the French version just in case. Brittany Ferries in Portsmouth looked to have bundles of print outs in French or English for people who had forgotten about them.

I crossed to France via the Tunnel today. Very speedy check-in, with a human being who asked simply my name, and if I had any animals with me. I was asked for no paperwork, and didn’t even have to put my credit card in the slot. (I am thinking maybe it was because I had already uploaded a photo of my completed attestation on the Eurotunnel site, as suggested, as it wasn’t asked for by anybody else along the way.) My car was swabbed, and I was asked if I had any weapons(!), but no one checked my cargo or confiscated my bundle of freshly picked home-grown runner beans (thank goodness). My vaccination certificate was only checked by the French immigration person at the final cabin.
