I am afraid mrs A that they have (dog) pooped in their own bed. With a cookie acceptance/amendment statement that covers half of the page the reaction is just to close the window. I did.

I'm all in favour of dog rescue, but can't understand why wearing blue for Battersea in France (which is where almost of us live) might help them. There are animal rescue associations all over France (not only SPA) who need our help and willing adopters too.
I love watching the TV programmes from Battersea with Paul O'Grady and I wish them all success in future adoptions.

If I read that correctly it blocks the cookie warning only.
That means the site will install whatever cookies it wants and you have no control because you ignored/ blocked the warning. It's a bit like passing a "This path is dangerous do not pass" sign. It dos not stop the path being dangerous.
If you have this installed, then poor you.

Count me out Mrs A - I used to have a small monthly s/o to them, but cancelled it when I wanted a particular rescue dog that they would not allow to go to France as they had no way of determining if it would be a suitable environment.... (in fairness, not only them, the main UK Bull Terrier rescue were the same.)

You are a bar owner but only throw the drunks out at closing time - after they have had the chance to wreck the joint.

As the thread drift is important enough to matter to some people, I'll create a separate topic.
