Need to sort a visa out for returning in Dec to save our 90/180 days, but not sure which one......questions to follow later for those in the know.......
Does the VLS-T still exisit does anyone know?
Also, any tips on where to go for health insurance on a VLS-TS visa?

Arrived back last night, diversions from Portsmouth around Southampton up to Marlborough and onto my normal journey from Swindon up the A417 to Gloucester and then the M5 to Junction 6.
I went past many petrol stations, only one was closed and that seemed like an independent, there was an overhead gantry saying the services further up the M3 only had diesel. It seems to be easing, filled up near the ferry.
Very interested in your quest for a visa solution JD, after our next trip of 10 days at the end of October, I have calculated that I have a further 26 of my 90 days up to the 8th of January 2022.

Is that using The online Schengen Zone calculator?

Are you going by stamps in your passport AP or actual dates travelled? We got our first stamps both ways this trip for the first time Hi JD, just checked my passport and my first French stamp on entry at Caen Ouistreham on the 8/7/21 (rectangular stamp). The exit from France stamp at Caen Ouistreham has rounded edges. Just to add (edit)- All the information is currently on the Passenger Locator Form, as I found out when I offered my PLF at passport control at Portsmouth, he said there was no need as all the information was on his screen and reeled of my address, I don't know if the PLF is part of Brexit or the pandemic but I think it is here to stay for the foreseeable future and if you have nothing to hide...

Yes, DB as we have understood it as soon as I reach the 8/1/2022 the dates fall off the other end. If we have got this wrong please correct us.

The calculators I’ve looked at have been very straightforward. I would guess that you calculations are correct. I’ve only used made up dates at least your data is real. 🙂

I use the A3 to the M25 then M1 with no hold-ups anywhere so 103 miles in 1h30. Several fuel stations on both sides of the A3 had vehicles at the pumps. I had topped up with diesel at Total Ouistreham at €1.46 so considerably cheaper than the UK price.

Topped up at Richmond (Surrey) Sainsbury's yesterday. Short queue but they kept it moving, then started closing pumps as we finished filling up; only diesel left, delivery expected that night but they werent sure if it would be cancelled or not.

Beejay, if you were in the Blue Note bar when the quiz was on, I was the guy on his own who won the quiz !
