Every athletics session regardless of time plus the track cycling.
Especially looking forward to seeing Laura Kenny (née Trott) proving she is the finest cyclist of our times.

Me three re Laura Kenny. Of the 40+ sports, there are only 7 or 8 that I'm not interested in. Not sure there are enough hours in a day to watch all the rest. I'm really looking forward to giving it a try.

I read that those who are awarded medals at the Olympics will have to take their them from a plate of some sort and place them round their own necks. I can’t now find reference to this; having had contact with two garages this week, the keys were wiped before accepting them, so it doesn’t seem too far-fetched, but has anyone else seen this news?

One of the highlights of my life was being at the paralympics in London a few years ago. It was SPECTACULAR! And well worth the money!

No, but that sounds as though officials will present medals, much better than taking your individual medal from a plate; it was beginning to feel that the Olympics was going to be a very sad event. Thank you for the link.

Watched the young French fencer, Romain Cannone, win gold today (he was one of the replacements in the team, in case anyone couldn't compete; he was chosen to replace someone and ended up winning the gold), all three on the podium were offered a plate from which they took their respective medals and hung them round their own necks.

France also beat the USA in basketball - breaking a 25 game winning streak.

It is actually the Olympics of 2020!!!! Just like it was the European Football Championships of 2020 played in 2021.

I thought I heard a reference to the NHS sponsoring the UK team. Is this true? I heard it during the cycling ( mens road race). Is it only the cycling or the whole team or did I hear the reference wrong - it was in Spanish and on in the back ground.
If true - why. Maybe the money for their raise went there.

Really enjoyed the urban skateboarding though I never imagined I would back it as an Olympic event. The skill of these kids is mind boggling. More of the same please as well as the more traditional events.
