I'm finding it difficult to see what events are taking place the day or night of the event, I really want to see track and surfing events but when are they on?
Is there a way to find out what is planned?

Is there a way to find out what is planned? maybe try the official olympics webpage for times and then your local tv stations guide. all available online.
What you want to see and if it is broadcast in your country might depend if there is a person from that country where you are watching is competing.

Is there a way to find out what is planned? It depends on where you are and what stations you have access too I suppose. Here is the BBC site www.bbc.com/sport/olympics

Here's the official site. If you have a Skybox and you have Eurosport, there are 7 added Olympic channels from 983 to 989. 3 silvers and a bronze, then, as they say, get the first gold and others will follow, they sure have today. Well done team GB!

Really enjoyed the urban skateboarding though I never imagined I would back it as an Olympic event. The skill of these kids is mind boggling. Some of the falls they have must be painful, but they don't show it. And today a 13-year old Japanese girl won the gold in the Women's Skate event.

I was amazed to see they don't wear any pads at all and the two fairly bad falls I saw seemed not to cause even a graize.

The surfing will never be like this as there is a tropical storm heading toward Japan and creating big waves. A perfect scenario.

The surfing is being done in Bristol.
The ladies cycling has been disturbed due to the weather.

The surfing is being done in Bristol. Really? Now that's surprising, given that there are far better surfing areas closer to Japan than Bristol.

The surfing is being done in Bristol. The ladies cycling has been disturbed due to the weather. I lived in and around Bristol for many years and know that Bristol and its nearby coastal/estuary towns have the second highest tidal difference in the world, but I was never aware of its attributes as a surfing centre ...........

The Sea of Tranquility is very unwelcoming for the surfing community, there's no atmosphere at all.
