Finally, after more than 10 months since applying for our CdSs, we have today been given appointments at the prefecture for next Wednesday. I never doubted it would happen, but it does seem to have been a very long time in coming.
So there's just one thing I'd like clarification on please. I know we need to take with us a copy of the email received today, our passports and recent ID photos. It's the final thing I'm not sure of - 'Photocopie attestation d'assurance maladie'. Is that a copy of the paper we received years ago from CPAM or a copy of our personal health insurance certificate with Allianz?
TIA

That's your CPAM attestation. You should be able to print one off from your account.

Is that a copy of the paper we received years ago from CPAM .. Do you have online Amelie accounts ? If so then then, as Dilly says, you can print off a recent CPAM attestation for each of you. Problem solved. If you do not then create an account each .. it's not hard .. as it's a useful tool to have.

Thanks Dilly and Sue. I thought it must be that.
In this throw away society, fortunately I'm bucking that trend and could put my hands on them inmmediately! Mine is in my pre marriage to Biggles name, but I suppose taking our marriage certificate will sort that.
Once again, thank you. All we have to sort is a photo ............ I hate those more than I hate injections!

Any photobooth photo should suffice, it did for me. As for the attestation, I'd be tempted to print out a recent one from your Ameli account, which will show that you're still in the system today, as opposed to 'years ago'. Mind you, that's one document I wasn't asked to provide.

Thanks FFS. Our local Intermarche has an up to date booth which does ID photos.
As for the attestation, wouldn't they like to see that we've been in the system since 2005? Our carte vitales would surely back that up.

There's no carte vitale reader at the rdv.

Whenever photos are required for some "official" purpose we bite the bullet and go to a photography shop. They know exactly what format is needed and will give you an opportunity to say Yes or No before they commit to printing them. The cost is only about 2 1/2 times what you would pay in a photo booth.

Health insurance statement needs to be dated within the last three months, print current one's off your Amelia accounts.

Thanks for that captain. Can you let me have a link to where that is stated please?

No link, but personal experience. When I handed over my original attestation it was rejected and I was asked for an up to date version.

Logically if the préfecture wants to see an attestation, then captain M's post makes sense to me.
As, with edf bills etc, sometimes they are required to be less than 3 months old; for the WArps application it was a bill dated from last year.

In the past I've tried to create Ameli accounts, without success. I'm given the option to do it via France Direct and the Impots site, but despite my best efforts I don't seem able to do it. Earlier today I had an email from Ameli to say I'd connected to their site, but that was using Biggles' details. Even then, I was unable to find his attestation........ Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?
I'm down to one last attempt to get my application for an account sorted!

Hi Veem, it could be that you're included on Biggles' account so can't set one up for yourself independently. That's my case, although, in theory I've got my own SS number. Go into his account, in the middle of the page, 'Mes Démarches en 2 clics' The top option is 'Attestation de droits'. Click on the downward facing arrow and you'll get a drop down menu. It will ask you who you want the A for. Hopefully you'll both appear there. Select one at a time and 'Valider'. When they're downloaded you can print them off.
