how about a section on the environment/climate/ecology/help save the planet/what you can do to help save the planet or anything similar
I am sure there are many controversial aspects and hopefully lots of ideas from everyone. It is a very current and serious subject. I am pleased to add that I planted another 12 trees this weekend if that helps.

We are now eating less meat ( that may be an age thing) and we have thrown away our plastic toothbrushes and replaced them with bamboo ones. We try to buy stuff that isn't wrapped in plastic but it is difficult.

I have not seen these bamboo toothbrushes yet, are they with bamboo bristles or are these still nylon? Now that makes me think of microplastics getting shed into my gut, bah.

Just get rid of the human population -- problem solved Sort of DIY like ? They have the means and near ideal conditions. All they need is an excuse.

Natural bristles can come from a boar - so if you feel queasy about putting plastic in your mouth, think about stuffing your mouth with the bristles from a boar's bum.
