I have a new printer and have successfully used it recently. However, for some reason the printer will not connect to the WiFi. The WiFi and the computer are connected. My phone and other devices are connected. Everything is connected except the printer. I recently ran out of ink and since I replaced the ink cartridges nothing seems to work. I have printed a printer cartridge alignment page, but the documents do not print. The part where the computer says 'printer is ready' is not lit up. I have tried to get things moving by holding down the WiFi button and the X together but the WiFi blue light keeps flashing rather than hold steady. Any help/suggestions are gratefully received

Hello Renate
What does it say when you look at the status of your printer in your computer's settings ?

Check that the cartridge is compatible with the printer. My Epson ecotank wifi has its own address and is not the home wifi network. I had to print off this info from one of the buttons on the machine and to get a print from a computer, I have to change the wifi used in the computer OS. To that of the printer. You may also see the printer’s wifi in the computer wifi setup.

Finally sorted the problem by holding down the WPS button on the router for 3 seconds. I then waited 2 minutes. The WiFi blue light stopped flashing and all is well with the World. Thank you both for your replies.

Ther you go. Thanks for the feedback, nice to know you found the solution. By the way, what printer model do you have?
