Sounds like a good law.

It would do more for the environment by making it regulatory to have solar panels and an underground rainwater storage tank... But as witnessed at the recent jamboree, such is not really top of any agenda

This ‘ the Labour leader will add: “We would seek regulatory equivalence for financial services, and mutual recognition of professional qualifications, because we absolutely recognise the importance of looking after our world-class financial and professional service businesses.‘ sounds a bit too rich to me.

I charge at home using a 3 pin plug, the car draws 2.3 Kwh. Using a home charging unit allows a maximum of 7 Kwh but my car will only charge at a max 3.5 anyway so it's unnecessary to fit a special charger socket.
I'm actually sitting in Sainsbury King's Lynn (I know, the jet set, eh?) which has a Pod Point recharging station with 4 outlets. None of which are currently working. Good luck to EVs that are running out. So for the first time this month I shall burn some fossil fuel on the way home.

Regulations, new regulations, updates, it doesn't stop. You have to invite Mr. Consuel from now on for the bâtiments d’habitation collectifs, ainsi que pour l’installation d’IRVE dont la puissance est supérieure à 36 kW. Promotelec with more information.

In case of fear of electrical troubles and a Consuel inspector at your doorstep: have no fear. The new regs are only for new builds and a substantial electrical renovation. The so called Amendement 5 of the French electrical code in a nutshell, also available - for free - in more detail. As long as an existing installation électrique conforms to the relevant regs at the time of construction no need to do anything. Although: RCDs of 30 mA can be life savers, so if you prefer to live dangerously don't add them to your old, pre-war tableau électrique.....

A system error occurred, so I deleted these remarks, already uploaded earlier. Server issues.
