This company needs to update there website. It says they send chains everywhere. We found another company in France.
Hello Brian,
Thank you for your email
Unfortunately, I'm afraid that we are currently unable to send anything to EU countries, due to problems with the couriers and customs which has been caused by Brexit. However, you are welcome to arrange your own courier to collect a pair of snow chains from us. If you would like to do that, please order them for click & collect, and we will let you know the dimensions and weight once they are packed and ready for collection.
I hope this helps but please let me know if you have any further questions.
Kind regards
James

We googled the best snow chains and easiest to fit. Google came up with this UK company who had videos of it taking seconds to fit. Found them in France. Where we are moving to next year unlike the Cher has snow so did not want to fiddle about in the cold wanted something nice and easy to fit. They were only 60 euros a set more exspensive than norautos bog standard ones.

We've just returned from the Pyrenees and had to drive down the mountain in a pretty heavy snowstorm. I was very glad we had invested in the new all season tyres and the 4WD as there were cars sliding everywhere. Many people were stopped by the side of the road attaching snow chains. A couple had the instructions out and were trying to work out to fit them. Moral of the story is practice in the warm and dry before you need to fit them in minus 6.

If they're as easy to fit as the video shows, you're laughing, but: "Il est conseillé de réaliser un essai de montage à domicile avant la première utilisation"

I worked two days and nights in Hammerfest Norway ( one day is 6 months and one night is 6 months) in temeratures down to minus 25°C, driving on snow and mud winter tyres through blizzards you cannot imagine. No problem. Others were on studs in some cases, but I never saw a snow chain used. I was in my Subaru all wheel drive forester, one has to imagine it fitted with glass accelerator and brake pedals and drive accordingly.

In quite a few departments in France chains need to be carried in the car from next years during certain months. The subaru AWD's are nice cars but the hyundia has more extras and softer seats.

Been there and done that but practice as much as you like on a dry surface in mild conditions come the first actual fitting on a snow covered layby you'll be all fingers and thumbs - if you can feel them.

At that price do you get a personal fitter?
Which Hyundai have you bought ? I'm (we) on the ninth since 2003 and never had a single warranty claim.
