We have a 50m deep borehole on our land from which the water was analysed some years ago. We use that unfiltered for everything and it tastes lovely.

I think we're rather lucky too. Evidently we have a draw capacity of 10,000 litres per day. Certainly, back in the day, we could fill a 20,000 litre pool non stop without running out of water.

Yes. Our tap water comes from local springs and is absolutely pure. The test sheet we get with our yearly bill shows it contains nothing, no minerals or added chemicals, it has a pH of about 5.8 to 6 so it is as acid as beer. Kettle stays clean, no scale. It can't be good for me.

Amazing. There must be no agricultural activity going on in your area. There's so much chemical content in ours you can use it for liquid fertiliser.

We always drink bottled water in Brittany, when we lived in France, our daughter was always complaining of stomach aches, it took weeks to realise that although she took a bottle of water to school to fit in she drank from the water fountain like the other children, when she stopped drinking the water from the tap, the stomach aches dissapeared.
Dogs should not drink chlorinated water, unless they are very thirsty will they drink water fresh from the tap.

The water around here apparently has traces of arsenic in it, so that is why we drink only bottled water neat. Saying that there are a lot of aged villagers and it doesn't appear to have done them any harm.

Have drunk tap water at home in the UK and all over Europe. I filter tap water for my espresso machine to prevent limescale as the water is hard. A brother is an engineer at the largest UK water company

They probably only drink coffee and wine We know a farming family in Brittany who didn't drink water, only coffee and their own cider that they produced, 7000 litres whilst the two sons lived at home but now they have left they produce only 5000 litres, the father is 88 years young and works all day on the farm.

Yes, UK and FR (not Spain), though I avoid carafes of water that have been standing for any observable length of time, and ice cubes almost always give me the trots.
