That would look great set up in my shed, wire brush and stove paint and it would suit any man cave.
I was in Worcester Cathedral Cloisters on Sunday evening, where on display were the old bells dating back to the 14c, my OH thought I was some sort of heathen as I made a b-line for the old cast iron heater that must of once heated the place, it was fluted all up the sides to increase the surface area and the size of a Fiat 500 sat on it's exhaust, magnificent bit kit.
Our local church, St Andrew's in Ombersley, actually used to have underfloor heating, dating back to the 1800's run of a huge cast iron log burner that is still in place to view.

No parts needed for that heater, EVER!
Even the clumsiest ham fisted tenant could not break that.

And unlike many of the newfangled eco heat pump units I have heard about.................... It will last for generations.

Judging by the patina, it has been fired red hot. Maybethat's why the insulation board is leaning there to protect something from catching fire. Is the ash door welded shut? Too much draft to control the combustion.

I am sitting in the warm and appreciating a good heating system for the first time in a week.
I am down to sign the contracts on my new hovel project, I bought a caravan to live in and towed it back to my friends place and have been living in it since, trouble is as it had been stood for several years it was damp and none of the systems worked and the temperature has been minus 10°c during the night and has struggled to get above freezing during the day. I also appeared to have brought my regions weather with me and the fog has only lifted for a couple of brief periods since I have been here (unknown for this region).
All in all not the best time to be living in a damp unheated caravan without hot water or a functioning toilet flush, the reservoir was frozen this morning anyway so had the pump arrived it would have made no difference.
I have been using an oil filled radiator any setting above 1kw was likely to trip their triphase supply, it was pi**ing in the wind.
This evening I got the propane blown warm air system working, I had to bodge up an ignitor circuit, I can't believe how effective it is its already at 20°c and turned down to half power, tonight I will be able to sleep without wearing 3 layers of thermal underwear and 3 pairs of socks.
The caravan is modern (2006) but very large to heat, its well insulated but the manuals say it only meets the required EU standard with the 3.6kw gas fire running and not the 1.5kw electric back up, the 1kw oil filled rad stood no chance in the current weather.

I don't think I have ever managed to post a photo on this site, I know that its possible but it was always too much hassle before and I gave up, now I have the motivation but not the time, they are on my computer so if its now just a question of attaching a file I'll be happy to do so, it was the resizing or using a hosting site that was the problem before.

I signed the compromis on Monday so it will no longer be tempting fate to post photos.

it was the resizing or using a hosting site that was the problem before I've just discovered a new site for compressing large photos, eg from 3 MB to 500-odd KB: compressor.io/

I somehow got the impression pcpa had got all that diy nonsense out of his system after completing the big enterprise near the aircraft factory.
Having said that. I thought I was also past that when I finished the boat, and then again when I finished my forever home 20 years ago. Then a relationship break up dropped everything back to Default and I had to start again with half the cash to do it with. Due to age and related issues I'm unlikely to finish this one but it's warm in bed and the damp isn't too bad.
Happy Days.
