If Boris ordered the military to take out some Russians would the British people rally around him again and save his career. Or is Putin just trying to push up gas prices. We have plans for this year and a war is not one of them. Although they could give Andrew back his army titles and send him off to lead the troops.

He'll be gone soon. The birthday bash will be the straw that broke the camel's back, ironically. Not the 175,000 covid deaths. Not the trashed economy. Not the botched Brexit. Not the litany of lies to parliament. I hope he'll be gone soon because a few thousand war dead will mean nothing to a man prepared to let the bodies pile high in the pursuit of herd immunity.

I thought there were already sanctions in place to reduce the importation of Russian gas. Of course the US was behind that move and look what good it has done. If any of you were alive during the Thatcher years you might recall what a wonderful boost the discovery in the North Sea was to the economy. News that it could be so cheap or even free to UK consumers. What Tory bullshit that turned out to be. Thatcher bitch sold off large tracts to the highest bidders that helped balance the books at the time but has dashed any hopes of any sort of energy self-sufficiency.
