Anyone else having Burns Supper this evening? We bought a haggis from a Scottish butcher who is both a farmer and a butcher in this area, so tonight we'll have it with neeps and tatties. No whisky for me though - I don't like it. And we shan't be piping the haggis in to the strains of “A Man's A Man For A' That”.
Neither of us is Scottish but Biggles was stationed in Scotland for a long time years ago and is an honorary Scot at heart.

Montybutcher near Bousierre Poitvine? I know he delivered to Confolens at the weekend.

They're quite big, so we'll be having the same thing tomorrow.

There are no sweaties in this house but we will still be feasting on a Haggis. No neeps but mashed spuds will be served. No whisky for the same reason as Veem, vodka will stand in and herself will sample a Baileys or two. Slàinte Mhath.

I finished the last of a 10yo Aberlour then cracked open a 14 yo Aberlour. That's nice. I made the mistake of preparing two haggis but in the event only needed one. I knew it was borderline. I'll cope with the leftovers. It's the rules. 🤣🤣🤣

We didn't have haggis but we did the selkirk grace and whisky. The Scottish Government wantd to say "Happy burns night" in gaelic but used Google translate and it came out as "Have a happy injury".
