Ah, yes, I forgot to mention that as a new menu option. I'm not quite sure what the utility of it is apart from showing a calendar, we can't make notes for ourselves, only create posts on specific days, so I'm not sure if it's worth keeping.

Well you can create a new thread using it but why you would aent to when there are more intuitive ways of doing that, I don't know.
Thinking about it though, you could schedule a new thread saying "Happy Birthday Fred" or whatever on Fred's birthday or "It's a bank holiday today" on the appropriate date. I wonder what people do actually use it for....

It's a bank holiday tomorrow would be more useful.

I can see this calendar could be useful for members to post events in their locality, car boot sales,open gardens,christmas carols, vintage car exhibition, YNI. Members looking for a day out might log in and have a gander.
