After two years of avoiding it and taking most precautions I was finally hit with covid a couple of weeks ago. In my case is was no worse than a moderate cold, plus aching knees and leg muscles. I'm just wondering how well the forum members have faired.

I have no ideal... Never had a test, nor a cold in the last 2+ years.. A nose run once in a while but that is probably dust and a cough but that is probably from my water pipe.

We have something in common with ibis other than being a human ☺ No covid or colds here been masked up and still do when mixing outside.

In the last couple of days we have met up with French families and it is back to kisses and handshaking.

I'm just wondering how well the forum members have faired. Same for me, after being very careful over the last two years caught Covid a few weeks ago. Double jabbed and boosted. Seemed no worse than a bad cold, don’t know whether the mild symptoms were because of omicron and fully vaccinated. After the symptoms appeared and testing positive it was 10 days before testing negative.

Should have included a "don't know" in your poll.

My OH returned from work with it 4 weeks ago. His LFT's tested positive at work, then 2 negatives.
At home 2 days later he tested positive twice, then 2 days later negative. He went for a PCR which was positive. 3 days later, after a negative test he went back to work.
His symptoms a cold, bit of a cough.
As far as I know I never caught it.

Just released today after two consecutive negative tests. It was just a mild cold for me.

Tested positive, isolated for ten days, never knew I had it no symptoms and I felt fine. Same for a friend, she felt fine tested positive, we wondered who gave it to who, if not from one of us, then who......not sure those tests worked 100% last year?

I had a cold at the beginning of December that felt worse and lasted much longer than my bout of Covid. In both cases no one in my circle had either illness although my wife succumbed to covid a couple of days after me. I put both the cold and covid down to using public transport. I hope you all continue to avoid it but if you must have it, get the same one as me.

I tested positive for Covid on Friday, woke up with a stinking head cold so did a LFT, positive. Head cold has all but gone now, just down to niffles and a clearing cough, still testing positive.
