It is called 'prohibitive pricing'!
Because the airlines can no longer cope and cancelling everything that threatens to fly., BA have come up with a novel way to sell tickets and keep what they can in the air.
Quite simple really, multiply the normal ticket by an exorbitant amount and the ones who are not serious about travelling will just back off!
Today's sample selection is LHR-TLS 782€ each way, but be thankful it is not to Nice you want to go as it is 800€ each way! Mrs Hal will not be here for Easter! Anyone fancy a boys weekend away somewhere...

I did not quantify it, but the need for LHR is that it is a connecting flight AND on a day where I think airlines are going to be overwhelmed... Ryanair have though come to the rescue, but it does require a dash across town...
Bus? Noooo!
